Profile

The Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE) delivers world class business community, innovation, research and education, world-wide. With the recent acquisition by the University of Birmingham of the National College for Advanced Transportation and Infrastructure (NCATI), you can access an expanding portfolio of high-quality education programmes which provide opportunities to the greatest possible number of leaners, with routes into further and higher education and work, including Level 2-7 apprenticeships, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. BCRRE is lead partner in the £92m UK Rail Research and Innovation Network (UKRRIN), and earlier this year we opened our brand-new Centre of Excellence in Digital Systems where industry and academia can come together to work on new technologies, products and ideas. BCRRE operates the Rail Alliance, which operates at the heart of the rail supply chain for networking, collaboration, innovation and for every company to thrive.
